Corrective Exercise

Back, knee, shoulder, hip pain can often be attributed to weak tight muscles, resulting in poor postural alignment. When our stabilizer muscles become weak, the body tries to use other muscles to compensate, which can lead to injury and pain.

Corrective exercise and functional training are tailored exercises aimed to restore correct form and function, retraining the body to use the correct muscles to perform day to day tasks pain free.

As we age, if these weaknesses and imbalances aren't corrected it can lead to degeneration of discs and joints, bringing with it pain and poor posture.

Corrective exercise can start with very gentle movements, as we begin to retrain the body to engage and use the correct muscles, the tailored program will gradually improve your strength and mobility.
